So this Japanese song will be a bit different from the others i've spoken about so far, because although the artist is Japanese this song is fully in English.
The song starts with an acoustic guitar and some simple oo's. Though the song is very simple musically, it is really emotional and uplifting. Though the song is simple it feels almost intricate with how much effort there is behind it. ReN's vocals are very soft and comforting making the song very much like a lullaby, this is accentuated by the acoustic guitar. Just as a little note, I always find that this song is very calming when I have really bad anxiety. It feels like a warm and comforting embrace.
The lyrics speak of helping a bird by 'mend[ing it's] broken wings', and even though the bird is 'scared to fly', and though ReN knows the bird has to fly away. He will stay there with the bird while it heals, encouraging the bird to face it's fears to be happy. To me the lyrics feel like a good friend or family member who always makes sure to stay by your side and look after you when you're having a hard time. I think that's why I find this song so comforting, because it reminds me of the wonderful people I have around me.
